Whittaker & Co still have clients that have NOT had their 13/14 self-assessment tax return submitted to HMRC even though they HAVE paid for it. This is because we are STILL waiting for vital information and their signed 13/14 tax return checklist.

You HAVE received emails (please check your junk mail) and letters to your home address from your account manager requesting this information on numerous occasions from April 2014 to present.
If this information is NOT received by 5pm on Friday 30th January 2015 then your tax return will NOT be submitted to HMRC and you WILL incur late submission penalties, which YOU will have to pay not us.
If you HAVE quit the Maritime or Close Protection industry between 6th April 2013 and the 5th April 2014, you WILL still be required to submit a 13/14 self-assessment tax return to HMRC by 31st January 2015 as you will HAVE that income to declare even if you have returned to paye in that period.
HMRC ARE very strict on excuses for late submission as you HAVE had 9 months to get it submitted to them.
The clock is ticking and there are only THREE WORKING DAYS to get your 13/14 self-assessment tax return submitted to HMRC.
So ACT now to AVOID your 13/14 self-assessment tax return NOT being submitted before the deadline, 31st January 2015.
